22-year-old Bindi Irwin has some happy news for all her fans and followers. The daughter of late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin shared the joyous news that she is expecting her child with husband Chandler Powell.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Australia Zoo in March 2020. The ceremony was limited to just a few witnesses in order to comply with COVID-19 social distancing restrictions.
The wildlife warrior took to Instagram today, posing a picture with her husband and a tiny Australia Zoo shirt. She revealed that she is in her first trimester and asked fans for ‘advice, good vibes and prayers.’

The former Dancing With The Stars contestant posted the happy news on Instagram, sharing a photo of her engagement ring to her 3.3 million followers.
She captioned the image: “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021.
Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter. We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light. ❤️”
Chandler took to the comments and replied to Bindi’s post with: “You’re going to be the best mother.”
Bindi and Chandler got engaged last July after he proposed on her 21st birthday at her favourite location in Australia Zoo.
