Mallika Sagar Career Before IPL 2024

Mumbai-based entrepreneur and art collector Sagar has had a penchant for the world of Auctioneering ever since she read a book featuring a female auctioneer as the lead. Mallika Sagar has turned a novel plotline into reality and is now at a peak of success.

Sagar is an art history major from Bryn Mawr College, Philadelphia. She became the first Indian woman to take up the gavel in Christie’s British auction house.

Though most of her experience is in art auctions, she’s not new to the sports. Sagar hosted the 2021 Pro Kabbadi league, making her way into the sports arena. She then conducted the Women’s Premier League auctions for two consecutive years.
