In 2021, the 1D star turned his New York Love On Tour concert – which was being held at Madison Square Garden, into a gigantic Halloween party that he, his team, and fans dubbed ‘Harryween.’ Read on to know more about the look and how you can simply slip into it to shine this Halloween and maybe even take home the ‘best costume’ award if it’s a competitive night.

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, Harry Styles hit the stage dressed in a costume inspired by Dorothy from ‘The Wizard of Oz.’ To look like the fictional character, the ‘Watermelon Sugar’ singer dressed in a blue and white gingham mini dress featuring different sizes of tiny red heart prints and a plain white collar.

Harry Styles elevated the character-inspired look further by accessorizing with a matching hair bow, white bloomers (yes, we got a view of what was underneath, too), red tight, custom red Gucci boots (with light blue leather uppers to mimic Dorothy’s socks from the original film) specifically designed for the occasion by Alessandro Michel, and a Toto stuffed animal in a wicker basket. The block heels, bow accents, and rounded toes covered in red glitter paired with the bow and basket added vintage glamour to his ensemble.
While he proudly showed off his tattoos and rocked many rings as usual, he opted for a bright red blush to look Dorothy – and we still love it. Check out the look here:

If you – both girls and guys- want to wear a look inspired by this ensemble Harry Styles wore to Harryween in 2021, simply find yourself a simple, knee-length cotton dress. Make sure it has a checked pattern, a white collar, and a few buttons in front, if possible. Opt for tights in a complimenting color and close-toe shoes that can be glittered by adding some glitter tape (or if you want to be daring, put some glue on it before dropping a box of flitter on it). Accessorize like Harry with a matching bow on the head and a wicker basket in hand – put chocolates in it to distribute to kids.
