Miley Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray Cyrus, has recently released his fourth collaboration with his wife, Firerosse, who is also a musician. He was born in Kentucky to Ron Cyrus and his wife, the former Ruth Ann Casto. His father was a steelworker who later on turned to politics. Cyrus attended Georgetown College on a baseball scholarship but dropped out to pursue music. He got inspired after attending a Neil Diamond concert.

In 1992, Miley Cyrus’ father released his debut album, Some Gave All. It became an instant hit and debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Country Albums, Billboard 200, and other charts in several countries. He is best known for his hit Achy Breaky Heart. Billy released his second studio album in 1993, which also debuted at the top of the charts. However, his third album, Storm in the Heartland, which came out the following year, did not even make it to the top 10 on the charts.
After working with Mercury for some years, Billy Ray Cyrus left them and went to work with Monument Records. After that, he moved to Christian music and recorded two albums. He then took a break from music and shifted to acting but made a comeback around 2008 and released more albums. He also appeared in Lil Nas X‘s song Old Town Road. He is widely known for appearing in Hannah Montana alongside daughter Miley Cyrus from 2005-2011. He reportedly earned around $15K per episode.

After divorcing Tish Cyrus, Billy Ray tied the knot with Australian singer Firerose, who is reportedly four years older than Miley. Billy Ray and the Flowers star were not talking long before his wedding to Firerose. Miley’s mother, Tish, and Cyrus were married for about 30 years, and after the divorce in 2022, the Grammy winner chose her mother’s side. She even unfollowed her father, Billy Ray, on social media.
In an interview with People, Firerose said, “Only by the grace of God did I survive my darkest nights. There is so much truth in these lyrics, and my purpose to help others find strength in their toughest hours.” The couple tied the knot in October last year.
