The film that dropped through the weekend, failed to pick up on the first day of the week despite it being a partial holiday in many regions. The film earned 2 crores on its 1st Monday and with that the total collection of Zanjeer has reached 12 crores at the domestic box office.

The film isn’t performing well, perhaps due to the lack of the charm of its original flick. With Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt aiding the supporting roles, the film’s slow start at the box office is enough to convey that it is suffering a beating from Maneesh Sharma’s Shuddh Desi Romance!
