Yodha marks Sidharth’s return with Dharma Productions. Last time, these forces collaborated for Shershaah, and as we all know, that film worked wonders on the OTT platform. It missed the theatrical release amid the chaos of COVID and had it arrived in theatres, it could have been a massive box office success.
Just like Shershaah, Yodha presents Sidharth Malhotra as a man in uniform. As Sidharth fits well in such characters, there’s already positivity around the film. On top of that, the promotional material that has come out so far has worked in favor. Be it the first look poster, teaser, or the recently released trailer, everything has clicked with the viewers in the right way.

Talking about Yodha’s trailer, it was released on 29th February and is still trending at 1 on YouTube. By the time this story was written, it had garnered a whopping 2.68 crore views on the platform and raked in 205k likes. Talking about the reception, the trailer is receiving unanimous praise. Right from the crisp editing to exciting visuals, the promo is getting a big thumbs up.
Yodha trailer introduces us to Sidharth Malhotra as a man in uniform. From whatever is shown in the trailer, it seems that Sid is a bit cocky and doesn’t mind breaking the protocols. But due to this same reason, he gets suspended, and now, there’s a big question mark on him – is he a traitor or a true patriot? Of course, to get the answer, we’ll have to watch the film as we’re further glimpsed with a plane hijack mission taken up by Sid.

Talking about Sid’s upcoming release, it is expected to open between 8 and 10 crores.
