Sidharth Malhotra, Rashi Khanna, and Disha Patani are performing to impress with their recently released aerial action film Yodha. Helmed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film is picking up pace at the box office, and while it opened at 4.2 crore on day 1, it worked well on day 2.
A 42% Jump
On Saturday, positive word of mouth for the film played its role pretty well since the actioner took a jump of at least 42% on day 2. According to the early trends, the film is supposed to collect somewhere in the range of 5.5 crore to 6 crore.
If the late-night shows perform well, then it might go past 6 crore, but the chances might be bleak. However, while Sid Malhotra‘s film is getting appreciated and word of mouth is gradually growing, Yodha is currently depending only on spot bookings since the advance booking for the film has shown negligible numbers.

A Tough Fight With Shaitaan
While Yodha, released alongside Adah Sharma’s Bastar, the clash has had no impact on Sidharth Malhotra’s film in particular. However, it is facing resistance from Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan since the horror flick is still going strong after one week of its release.
One Week To Earn
Considering the box office dynamics, Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha has to stay strong over the week, fighting it out with Ajay Devgn, since next week Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon also arrive with their heist film Crew.
Yodha might pick up pace over the weekend and during the Holi holidays at the box office. Sidharth Malhotra has taken an impressive makeover as an action star with the aerial-action film. He did not taste box office success with his last release, Thank God, which co-incidentally was with Ajay Devgn. Meanwhile, he has had only one theatrical release with Thank God in 2022, in the last 4 years. Before Thank God, his last theatrical release was in Marjaavan in 2019.
