Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani: Opens To An Excellent Occupancy | Box Office

One of the year’s much awaited film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has finally hit the theatres today. For the morning shows, the movie had an occupancy of around 80-90% in multiplexes and slight less in the single screens. YJHD has received a bumper opening in metro cities like Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi.

One of the reasons for the Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer to open well was that it had an excellent advance booking at multiplexes, which started from Monday itself. Moreover, the makers had organized paid previews as well, where the response was mind blowing what with 70%-80% occupancy.

Looking at the strong response right from the moment it got released, it seems, the movie will surely pick up in the evening and night shows and come out with very good Opening Day Box Office Collections. This Ayan Mukhejee directorial has released in more than 3,000 screens across the country. And yes, the film is seeing a massive release for itself.
