Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Beats Dabangg 2’s 1st Day Record In Delhi

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has done the unbeatable. The Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor starrer has defeated the first day collections of Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 2 in the Delhi circuit.

Delhi that proudly boasts as Salman’s stronghold area had seen an opening of  above 1.60 crores for Dabangg 2 last year. But Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that saw a stupendous opening earned more than 4 crores from Delhi alone.

The city that has mixed population of myriad cultures have always received Ranbir’s films well and hence it isn’t much of a surprise that the Ranbir-Deepika starrer has been welcomed so well in the city.

Meanwhile, the film is doing great today as well. The morning and afternoon shows were bit down than Friday. However, it will surely pickup with houseful evening and night shows.
