X Men : Days of Future Past began tremendously well in India circuit. The franchise’s last edition X Men First Class was a fantastic film and with this stint, the franchise is minting good money from the domestic circuit, strong enough to give the newer releases a steady fight at the multiplexes. The film from its paid previews earned 50 lacs on Thursday and on its 1st Friday, the film earned in the range of 4.35 crores more. The film’s total collections at the domestic box office now rests at 4.85 crores so far.
With Micromax doing a great job at publicizing the film, the franchise name is a crowdpuller in the urban circuits with the multiplexes showing a sharp rise in its numbers towards the later half of the day. Despite the ongoing IPL season still commanding the top spot for audiences, die hard Marvel fans can’t have enough the product. Over the weekend, the film’s numbers have a good chance of rising, especially in the noon and evening shows.
