The film being a mass entertainer has performed extremely well in the North circuits and mass belts. It seems Sunday will see a good jump and hence the film is expected to have a good first weekend.

If it crosses the 35 crores on its first weekend, Gabbar Is Back will beat the highest opening weekend collections of the year which means Akshay will break his own record of Baby which made an opening collection of 35.90 crores at the domestic box office.
