The movie has already made collections of more than 208.05 crores (Hindi) and is still not going slow anytime soon. Still many shows are going houseful and the movie has already surpassed all the biggies of 2019 released till date. Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor is the highest grosser of 2019 but seems like War is all set to break its record within this week or so.
One of the reasons why the movie is doing brilliantly well at the box-office is because of the extended weekend. It would be interesting to see, how well it will hold today.
Let’s see how War is faring across the major cities of the country in advance booking:
MUMBAI: War is having the weekday effect today in Mumbai as there is only 5-10% houseful and filling fast shows as of now. However, the pace is going to pick up from the evening.
DELHI-NCR & BENGALURU: Delhi is in a similar zone as Mumbai. As of now just 5-10% shows are filling fast.
Bengaluru ki Janta has also lapped up the audience pretty well. The word of mouth seems to be good here and that’s why there are already 15-20% shows promising healthy occupancy. The trend will get better from evening onwards.

HYDERABAD: Better than both Mumbai and Delhi, Hyderabad is still ruling the advance booking scenario. Over 30% shows are already booking fast and on a working day.
KOLKATA, CHENNAI & AHMEDABAD: Kolkata has been very good for the movie since the start and even now it’s holding very well. With 30-40% shows filling fast, it will see another good day.
Even Chennai is doing well with 30-35% shows getting packed fast.
Ahmedabad is weak with less than 5% shows going houseful.
