War Box Office Day 5: Hrithik Roshan Chases Bang Bang, Tiger Shroff Set For His Biggest After Baaghi 2 After A MASSIVE Sunday

It’s all happening for Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War. The film is a solid hit already in 5 days flat, what with 166.25 crores (all languages) already in its kitty. This is an excellent number indeed as after an exemplary start, it has held well too.

So many times big movies start very well but aren’t able to sustain as well. However, this Sidharth Anand directed film actually ended up recording its second best day on the fifth day (after a record breaking opening day) and that pretty much tells the tale.

The film collected 36.10 crores more on Sunday and this is just fantastic. The Hindi collections of the film now stands at 159.70 crores. The film has been seeing a very good rise in collections from Friday onwards and what was evidenced on Sunday is something that happens only with blockbuster movies. The Yash Raj production collected 36.10 crores more and that completely justifies the positive response that the film has been gaining ever since its release.

For Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, this is a dream run indeed. War has already gone past the lifetime numbers of Super 30 which means for Hrithik Roshan the next target is Bang Bang. On the other hand Tiger Shroff could actually have achieved the feat of scoring his biggest ever in 5 days flat. He would have to wait till Monday afternoon for that as the film is just inches away from crossing 166 crores lifetime of Baaghi 2 which itself was a blockbuster. The manner in which War is going, the youngster could have yet another major blockbuster to his name in the quickest possible time.
