The Tamil film Kaththi which released over the Diwali weekend has now crossed the 100 crore mark worldwide in ten days. The film’s music composer Aniruddh Ravichander even tweeted saying, “Very special day! #Kaththihitsfastest100cr! Total theatrical collection -100.7cr (65.1ATN, 20.2 overseas, 15.4 others)”.

This is A. R. Murugadoss’s third consecutive film to have hit the 100 crore mark. His last films that hit the mark were Thuppakki and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never off Duty.
