Thugs Of Hindostan Box Office Day 6 Early Trends: After A Poor Monday, The Movie Continues To Struggle

Finally Thugs Of Hindostan made its way into the highest grossing movies of the year, after its Monday collection. The Amitabh Bachchan – Aamir Khan starrer was expected to rake unprecedented moolah at the ticket windows, but ever since the negative word-of-mouth spread like a wildfire, the movie seems dwindling its journey on a surprising note.

After taking a record opening of 50.75 crores (Hindi version), the action-adventure saga is falling like ninepins. In its 4-day extended weekend, the movie collected 119 crores at the box office and added another 5.50 crores on Monday, taking its total to 124.50 crores. And as expected, it continued the same trend on first Tuesday. As per the early trends, the movie collected in the range of 4-6* crores on Tuesday, thus making a sum of 128.50-130.50* crores at the box office.

Looking at the kind of fall it is witnessing, the movie might struggle to even surpass the collections made by Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 (165 crores) and Salman Khan’s Race 3 (169 crores).

There was a huge pre-release buzz for the movie, as it featured legend Amitabh Bachchan sharing a screen space with superstar Aamir Khan, for the first time. Also, it’s the most expensive project of Yash Raj Films with a budget of around 300 crores. Upon its release, the movie got bashed for its poor content, across all the social media platforms.
