The Zoya Factor starring Sonam Kapoor & Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan is all set to hit cinemas tomorrow. The film is based on Anuja Chauhan’s book of the same title and is the second Bollywood film of Salmaan after Karwaan which released last year.
The Zoya Factor is a story of a girl named Zoya who was born in 1983 on the day when the Indian Cricket team got its first World Cup victory. She’s therefore considered lucky for Indian cricket team members even though her own personal and professional life is far away from being termed as “lucky”.
The current “Reach” and “Buzz” details of The Zoya Factor one day before is release.
Reach
The Zoya Factor‘s trailer was launched less than a month before and going by its genre and overall appeal, it should’ve released earlier. The film’s trailer hasn’t got much visibility even though the makers and the lead pair have tried to promote the film well. Also, the trailer hasn’t been liked as much as the team would’ve wanted.
Sonam’s last film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga was a disappointment at the Box Office. Even Dulquer Salmaan who has huge fan following in South India couldn’t impress with his debut with Karwaan last year. With The Zoya Factor, they’ll be expecting to get a decent success.
I’ll rate the current reach of The Zoya Factor as 5.5/10.
Trending
Buzz
The buzz of the film is just fair as it hasn’t been able to make the audience crazy. Also, the way previous releases Chhichhore and Dream Girl are trending at the Box Office, The Zoya Factor will mostly depend on reviews and the early public response to create some buzz. New releases Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas & others will hardly affect it.
I’ll rate the current buzz of the film as 4/10.
The Zoya Factor will largely depend on good word of mouth to sustain and do respectable business. The opening day business of the film is likely to be in 4-5 crores range.
