Leonardo DiCaprio’s Academy award winning film The Revenant took a decent start in India at the Box Office. The film which released in India last week, collected 1 crore on Friday, 1.15 crores on Saturday and 1.35 crores on Sunday. Over its first weekend, the film collected 3.50 crores at the India box office.

Last week’s Bollywood releases on the other hand, remained low. Both Aligarh and Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive were low over their first weekend. Interestingly, The Revenant’s collections are higher than several Hindi films that got released last Friday.

The Oscar winning film has received rave reviews and is being touted to be DiCaprio’s best.
