The Lion King from its release day itself was doing better business than what The Jungle Book did 3 years earlier. The fight got intense with time as the weekday business of both films was pretty neck to neck till Tuesday but now the situation has reversed.

The Lion King on its First Wednesday has done a business of 6.25 crores net and on the contrary, The Jungle Book collected 7.97 crores on its First Wednesday. The difference is huge and at the same time, there’s this fact that TLK has dropped while TJB showed a jump on Wednesday.

The 6 day total business of TLK is 75.92 crores and TJB had earned 63.11 crores in 6 days. The latest Disney film is still leading in total as compared to the former one, but the trend seems to be not as good.
