Meanwhile, The Lion King is consolidating its superhit status. The film collected 3 crores* more on Wednesday which is a very good hold again. The film has accumulated 124.27 crores* so far and in a couple of days from now it would overtake Super 30 collections.

All eyes are now on how big does the third weekend turn out to be for the film as it has been taking phenomenal jumps on Saturday and Sunday, and if that happens again then 150 crores milestone would be crossed rather soon by this animation affair.
