The Jungle Book has put up an extremely strong performance at the India box office.It slightly slowed down over its fifth weekend. The film collected, 1.34 crores on its fifth Saturday, thus taking its total to 173.04 crores at the domestic box office.

The Neel Sethi starrer has made the highest business so far in 2016. Interestingly, it picked up on Saturday from its Friday collections In fact, the film manged to score in the same league as the new Bollywood releases which is commendable.

The Jon Favreau film is based on Rudyard Kipling’s famed book The Jungle Book.
