The box-office collection of The Dirty Picture on Tuesday was more than on Monday due to holiday on account of Moharrum and, in Maharashtra, also Ambedkar Jayanti. After a very good weekend at the box-office, TDP made a good Rs. 6.21 crore on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, largely owing to the holiday.
The revised collections of the Vidya Balan starrer are as follows: the film collected Rs. 9.54 crore on Friday, Rs. 10.78 crore on Saturday, Rs. 12.38 crore on Sunday and Rs. 5.72 crore on Monday. This takes the 5-day total of the film to Rs. 44.63 crore (approx. all-India net).
