Join UsThe Dark Knight Rises has received an amazing response at the Indian Box Office. Opening to house-full theaters across the country, the movie did exceedingly well in the metros on Day 1. For a Hollywood movie which released on a limited number of screens The Dark Knight Rises has done pretty well. The movie made a decent 5.50 Crores on Day 1 at the Indian box-office.
It might seem as a small opening but considering the fact that it is a Hollywood release, the figures are pretty good. In fact it is the 2nd biggest opening by any Hollywood film in India. The two centers where the movie did exceedingly well were Mumbai with 1.75 Crores and Delhi with 90 lacks.
The collections are expected to receive a huge jump in the weekend, especially coz of no big Bollywood release this week.
