Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has scored a half-century in 8 days flat. After seeing an opening day of 7.02 crores, the sci-fi romcom has stayed stable ever since and that has resulted in the film going past the 50 crores mark on the second Friday. This is good because a week is wide open in front of it, which means it will now consolidate over the score that has already been built.
This was all the more evident on the second Friday when the film, in fact, grew over Thursday. This was on the cards as well since there it’s the only notable film in the running currently and with audiences warming up to it on a daily basis, the growth was imminent. No wonder, from 3.06 crores that it had collected on the day prior, it moved up to 3.21 crores at the start of the second week. As a matter of fact, the film has not gone below the 3 crores mark even since during its play so far as even Monday’s score had read 3.75 crores, and then it grew till Wednesday.
As a result, the total of this Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer currently stands at 50.39 crores. It’s a given that by the close of the second weekend, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya would go past the 60 crores mark since Saturday growth would be good and then Sunday will further consolidate. The film is now comfortably set for a total in excess of 70 crores, and it has to be seen where it eventually lands.
