It was always on the cards that Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya will grow on Wednesday due to Valentine’s Day. After all, the genre is just right for the occasion, and with the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer being a rare rom-com to arrive in theatres, audience footfalls were bound to be there. The film collected 7.21 crore on Wednesday, February 14.
The rom-com had also found good word of mouth going for it ever since its release. Hence, even if 5-6 crore had come in, it would have been quite good. However, what happened on Wednesday was even beyond expectations as the film managed to cross the 7 crore mark all over again.
On Monday, the film brought 7.02 crore, so to now have a Day 6 number greater than that (even after taking into account (Valentine’s Day) is really impressive. This shows that the film is working well with the youth because, in the past, it has been seen that even the best of the holidays haven’t been able to result in added footfalls if a movie hasn’t found traction.

On the other hand, in the case of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the collections have been on a steady upswing, first during the weekdays and now since Monday as well.
The film’s total has now come close to the 45 crore mark in just six days, and there is one full day left to do, which will add a few more crores. With 44.12 crore already in the film’s kitty, this one is now aiming for a healthy lifetime score.
