Join UsTanhaji Box Office: Ajay Devgn-Saif Ali Khan’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has pulled off an extraordinary sum and is dominating new releases. Right from advance booking trends, the film was expected to do well in Mumbai and other Maharastra’s circuits but the numbers that are flowing in are nothing less than historical.
As per the trade estimates, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has earned around 118 crores from Mumbai alone. It is 2nd highest ever after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’s 190 crores approx. Ajay Devgn’s period drama has surpassed the biggies like Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai (109 crores), Aamir Khan’s PK (105 crores), Dangal (104 crores) and Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju (102 crores).
Overall, the film has collected 235.10 crores in 20 days of its theatrical run. On the worldwide front, it has earned 312.41 crores to become Ajay Devgn’s highest-grossing movie ever. It surpassed Golmaal Again’s 310.67 crores.
Meanwhile, after Tanhaji crossed 200 crore mark in India, Devgn’s wife Kajol took to Instagram to express her excitement and thanked the audience for their continued love and support. “Thank you for 200 crores people …. waiting with my hands clasped for 250 now #gratitude #peoplelove #sogratefulforsomuch,” Kajol wrote.

Devgn also announced on Instagram that the film has become a blockbuster. “Marching towards glory with all your love! Thank you for making #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior a blockbuster hit of 2020! #TanhajiUnitesIndia,” he wrote.
The Om Raut directorial stars Ajay Devgn in the titular role with Saif Ali Khan playing the antagonist Udaybhan Sinh Rathore, and Sharad Kelkar cast as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
