While several notable releases flooded the theatres, Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 is refusing to fold up its run in the cinemas. It’s been over the month and the movie is still adding some numbers in its huge total.
At the box office, Super 30 has accumulated a sum of 146.10 crores in the run of 34 days (till 5th Tuesday). The movie will face a drop on Wednesday and from Thursday onwards, it will be practically out of the theatres as Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House will be ruling the screens.

The movie might just end up it magical run around 148 crores and 150 crore mark is out of reach as of now.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film released on July 12. It is based on the life of Mathematician Anand Kumar, who runs the Super 30 programme for IIT-JEE aspirants from poor families. The film has been declared tax-free in Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amit Sadh and Nandish Sandhu in pivotal roles.
Upon the announcement of tax-free in the state, Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took to Twitter and wrote, “’Super 30′, based on the real story of Anand Kumar, is an inspiring film of recent times. It is an excellent example of exceptional will power and determination, that despite all odds, success is achievable.”
