Super 30 held well on Monday as 6.92 crores came in. The film has been accepted well by the core audiences at which it was targeted and hence in major cities it is fetching footfalls. Of course the kind of subject that it has makes it a good candidate for the interiors as well. However, Vikas Bahl’s treatment of the subject means that it is multiplexes where it is finding most footfalls.
The film had collected 11.83 crores on Friday and ideally a number in the vicinity of 8 crores would have been preferable on Monday. More so since the word of mouth for the film is quite positive. Nonetheless, it is now expected that the days to come would stay on to be as stable as Monday and that would help the film fetch an overall good moolah by the end of first week.
The total so far for the film is 57.68 crores and that is a good trending. One waits to see where does it land up after the second weekend as that would help decide the overall total of the film.
