Sunil Bohra, who, alongwith Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, is the all-India distributor of this week’s Tanu Weds Manu, seems to be the Man with the Midas touch. Films which he has been associated with – whether in putting them together or in any other capacity – have generally clicked at the box-office. He helped Abhinav Kashyap during his struggling days when he was trying to find a producer for Dabangg, which is why Abhinav acknowledged Sunil’s assistance, in the film’s credit titles. Aamir Khan acknowledged Sunil Bohra’s help in the release of his Peepli Live, in the film’s credit titles, and so did he in the biggest blockbuster of his career, 3 Idiots. The credit titles of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ also mention the name of Sunil The Bohra (that’s the way he prefers being addressed!). The producers of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ are only hoping that their film also clicks the way the other three films clicked.

While on Sunil Bohra, the guy had booked a venue for the success party of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ even before the film could hit the screens. So confident was he about the acceptance of the love story by the paying public that he mentally decided to host a party to celebrate the success on 28th February. Not just that, he even booked a hotel in advance, for the party.
