Karan Johar’s directorial venture ‘Student Of The Year’ made about 4.75 Crores as per early estimates on its 1st Monday at the domestic box office. The movie had a pretty good weekend of 28.5 Crores and now stands at a domestic box office total of 33.25 Crores. For a movie with all newbies this is nothing short of an achievement. Needless to say Karan Johar has struck the right chords yet again.

Taking a look at the overseas collection, the movie has opened to a fair box office out there with 5.50 Crores as of now.

Seems, ‘Student Of The Year‘ may surely cross 42 Crores in its 1 week run at the domestic box office. Lifetime box office looks set at 60 plus Crores. The release of a multitude of films this weekend might affect the box office journey of SOTY.
