Street Dancer 3D Box Office: Has A Decent Hold On Sunday

Street Dancer 3D Box Office: Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor’s film after jumping fairly well on Saturday with 3.40 crores coming in, Street Dancer 3D did better on Sunday too with 4.50 crores* been collected.

Given the fact that Friday had been low at 2.01 crores, Sunday has held up better which has given some sort of respectability to the film.

The Remo D’Souza directed film has collected 66.68 crores* so far. Of course, when a film has a cast like Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor at its disposal and the genre too is the kind in which the pair had been accepted and appreciated before (ABCD 2), expectations are that of a higher total.

So far though, it is apparent that the film will manage a lifetime of a little over 75 crores, though that’s about it. It could well have been a 100 Crore Club affair but unfortunately, it would fall well short of that. One now waits to see if the next dance film that is made by the same team carries the legacy of Street Dancer or ABCD as a franchise.
