Street Dancer 3D Box Office: Remo D’Souza’s Street Dancer 3D had fair collections on Tuesday as 3.88 crores more came in. On Monday the film had collected 4.65 crores and hence the need of the hour was for the collections to touch at least 4 crores and not show a major dip.
The film now needs to be on the same levels today as well as tomorrow as further drops won’t really be great news for those associated with it. So far, the collections have reached 49.76 crores and the dip on Tuesday means that the first week won’t be able to hit the 60 crores mark.
That said, from the overall economics perspective, the film is safe. The film is made at a cost of 100 crores (COP – 85 crores, P&A – 15 crores). The recovery amount of the film is 116 crores with satellite & digital (75 crores), music (15 crores), overseas (11 crores) and UK rebate (15 crores). Moreover, the film was released on a commission basis so it could lead to a win-win situation for all.
