And while everyone was screaming O Stree Kal Aana, Shraddha Kapoor arrived with Stree 2 along with her Vicky, Rajkummar Rao, and the two together might indeed be a horror show for their clash competitors Khel Khel Mein & Vedaa because currently with almost 40 – 45 crore expected opening day, Shraddha’s film is beasting at the box office!
The advance booking numbers for day 1 were phenomenal, crossing 23 crore gross collection with 8.2 lakh sold tickets. Now, it seems like the film will be offering a big number on day 2, followed by the weekend, which might explode.

Currently, the film is celebrating its achievements despite a three-way box office clash and looking at the word of mouth for Stree 2 the film would rush to enter elite clubs till Monday, August 19, a partial Raksha Bandhan holiday!

During the afternoon, after people started raving about the horror-comedy film, the booking trends on BMS saw a huge spike with as much as 69.7K tickets being sold in 1 hour at around 2 pm. By 5 pm, the trends were still around 45K tickets per hour. Even during the night, the booking pace is around 31.2K tickets being sold in the last hour at 7.30 pm.
Looking at the current trends and houseful shows, it seems like 100 crores in three days might not be a very big deal for Stree 2. In fact, it might be another 400 crore grosser in India, which would be a humongous achievement for a film of this stature.
