With 26.57 crore in its kitty already, the film is now assured of a lifetime of at least 60 crore which means a Hit tag is pretty much for the taking.
Just like Fukrey Returns last year, even this Luv Ranjan directed film has emerged as a small film which is paying big dividends. Audiences have given a big thumbs-up to the film and have whole-heartedly accepted it with open arms. More than just the youth, even family audiences are stepping in theaters and this is what’s making all the difference.
After a dull week before this when Aiyaary couldn’t do much and PadMan too slowed down, theaters are back in action, courtesy this bromance v/s romance tale that has kept audiences entertained.
Same can’t be said though about Welcome To New York which hasn’t gained much over the weekend. With just 3 crore* coming in, the film has done lesser than Sonakshi Sinha’s Noor which had brought in 5.52 crore in its opening weekend.
