After doing well for the last 4 days, Son of Sardaar continued doing well on its 5th Day too. The movie made about 8.50 Crores as per early estimates on its 1st Saturday at the domestic box office. Ajay Devgn‘s Son of Sardaar now stands at 55.80 Crores.
The movie was hit badly towards late evening in Maharashtra as all the theaters were shut down coz of Politician Balasaheb Thackerey’s sad demise. Had this not been so, the movie was sure to show better numbers on its 5th Day at the domestic box office. Also, the theaters in Maharashtra will be shut also on Sunday, which means the movie will take another hit.

North India showed a positive growth for SOS but the competition with Jab Tak Hai Jaan is having a bad effect on both the movies.
