Son of Sardaar made about 9.25 Crores nett on its 1st Friday at the domestic box office. The movie now stands at a domestic box office collection of 47.30 Crores.
Ajay Devgn‘s SOS showed no improvement in multiplexes but held up pretty strong in mass belts, where it was already doing pretty well. The drop in collections can be attributed to the working day.

However, areas like Mumbai, Gujrat, Rajasthan, CI, and Delhi, UP have shown quite a positive trend for Son of Sardaar and kept showing so even on Friday. Son of Sardaar is not necessarily a multiplex flick and thus the collections from mass belts are justified. The collections would have been higher had it done as good as Jab Tak Hai Jaan in multiplexes coz of the ticket prices.

The movie will heavily rely on Saturday and Sunday numbers to make it large at the 1st weekend box office.
