Shuddh Desi Romance has opened to a better occupancy than Zanjeer, that released today. As per early morning shows’ response, the movie saw a 35-40% occupancy in the multiplexes and around 20-25% in single screens.

The overall occupancy of this YRF venture is still not impressive, however looking at the positive word of mouth publicity it seems the movie will surely pick up in the evening and late night shows.
