Shuddh Desi Romance has been doing well at the domestic box office. Given, that the film came up with fresh ideas of contemporary relationships, the box office collections show that the film has been received quite well.
Even on its 2nd Friday the film made 1.25 crores at the box office and on its 2nd Saturday the film made 1.50 crores. The film’s total collections so far rests at 39.75 crores at the domestic box office.

Actors Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput have put up a wonderful on-screen camaraderie and debutant Vaani Kapoor amply aids them. The film is brutally honest and flatteringly charming. One can expect it to continue good business given the dull releases this week, except Grand Masti which is scoring well so far in terms of box office moolah!
