Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Box Office: 32.66 Crores VS Ayushmann Khurrana’s Top Weekends

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest release has managed a decent weekend for itself. Although the film received mixed reviews from critics, the numbers dictate a different story. If not the best, it surely amongst the best for the actor.

After taking a start of 9.55 crores, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan grew over the weekend. It pulled off a total of 32.66 crores in first 3 days. Though bigger numbers were expected from the film, it’s good considering the subject is not outright appealing to the family audience unlike Ayushmann’s previous releases like Dream Girl, Bala and others.

It could be seen that SMZS is the 4th highest weekend grosser for Ayushmann Khurrana. The prequel Shubh Mangal Saavdhan earned 14.46 crores during the weekend, which released in 2017.

Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan released on 21st February 2020. It also features Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in key roles.

Meanwhile, a day after Donald Trump lauded the Bollywood gay rom-com “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan“, Ayushmann Khurrana is over the moon and said that it was great to see a reaction from the US President.

Ayushmann’s reply to Trump’s tweet was one filled with hope.
