The news that created a hungama of sorts in the trade this week was that of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. joining hands with LFS Media & Entertainment (LFS Group) to develop an India Studio City in Bombay involving an investment of Rs. 15,000 crore. The India Studio City will offer all services used in the filmmaking process and also theme parks and hospitality services and hotels.

The basic land infrastructure has reportedly been acquired by LFS. The City will be developed on around 300-350 acres of land.
