Shootout At Wadala had a great beginning today when it opened to a total 65%-70% occupancy with single screens raking up a better business for the film than multiplexes at the Domestic Box Office. The film is faring better in Maharashtra, CP Berar, North India and U.P circuits which will cover for a large part of the film’s income in the weeks to come.

South India, Bengal will read a lower occupancy rate compared to the rest of the circuits. This film is predictably one of the best box office openers of this year. The collections is sure to rise by the later shows of the day, with evening shows expecting a better occupancy.

With the humongous popularity of Shootout At Lokhandwala which became one of the year’s biggest hits, Shootout At Wadala is easily a better film. Being a mass entertainer, the film will attract more cine goers over the weekend and can be assumed to have a great opening weekend collection at the Box Office!
