Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan, after enjoying a healthy opening weekend, is maintaining a good hold on weekdays. It clearly indicates that the film is being appreciated by a section of audiences, and in the next few days, the mark of 100 crores will be crossed like a cakewalk. Keep reading to know how much the film earned at the Indian box office on day 5!

Reception of Shaitaan

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the horror thriller marked its arrival in theatres on 8th March. Upon its release, the film received mixed to positive reactions from critics. However, the audience is showing a promising response to the film, due to which it’ll soon be making an entry in the 100 crore club (net collection).

Day 5 early estimates of Shaitaan

On Monday, Shaitaan passed the weekday test with flying colors and earned 7.81 crores. Yesterday, the film showed a minimal drop, and as per early estimates, collection in the range of 6.60-7.15 crores is recorded. If calculated, it’s a drop of 15.49-8.45%, which is completely normal. In fact, a drop of less than 20% indicates that the film will run longer in theatres.

After adding the estimated collection, Shaitaan stands at 69.54-70.09 crores after 5 days.

What’s next for Shaitaan

From here, the first big target is entering the 100 crore club at the Indian box office. This feat will be achieved during the second weekend. After that, the film aims to hit the 150 crore milestone, which looks like a bit of a tough task. Let’s see how the box office journey proceeds further.

More about Shaitaan

Apart from Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan, Shaitaan also stars Janki Bodiwala, Jyothika, and Anngad Raj. For those who don’t know, the film is an official Hindi remake of last year’s Gujarati film, Vash. For the unversed, Janki was also a part of the Gujarati film, and here, in this Ajay Devgn starrer, she has reprised her role.
