Shaandaar : 1st Tuesday Box Office Collections

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Shaandaar expereinced a further drop on its sixth day. The film collected 1.75 crores on its first Tuesday, thus taking its total collections to 37.76 crores at the domestic box office. The destination wedding drama was expected to be a money spinner thanks to its cast although it suffered a bitter fate at the box office.

The Vikas Bahl film even had decently popular music but the mediocre content killed its chances to become an audience puller. In spite of the lower performance, the film became Shahid Kapoor’s highest opener domestically and also his highest weekend opener in the overseas circuits.
