Salman Khan’s ETT & Dabangg 2 at Top 2 positions; Owns 28% of 2012 Top 10 Box Office Collections

After shattering many a records at the domestic box office, Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 has overtaken Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathore at the Koimoi Top 10 2012 chart. Dabangg 2, with 139.85 Crores in its kitty, has taken the No. 2 spot in the 2012 list.

The No 1 position is still held by Ek Tha Tiger with a mammoth 198 Crores Collection. Salman, now has to compete with his own movie and either way the winner will be Salman Khan himself. We predict that Dabangg 2 will make a minimum business of 160 Crores in India.

Rowdy Rathore is at No 3 position with 131 Crores and Akshay and Ajay Devgn have 2 movies each in the Top 10 Chart.

A summary of the Top 10 movies chart gives a clear picture that out of Rs 1250 crores business in the Top 10 list, Salman Khan has contributed around 28% i.e Rs 358 crores with 2 movies. Akshay Kumar with 2 movies has Rs 245 crores contributing in the Top 10 list i.e. around 20%. While, Ajay Devgn has 2 movies and shares a 16% of the total collections with 207 Crores in his kitty.
