Over the years, the festival of Eid has become synonymous to Salman Khan’s big releases. More than the star, theatre owners have been benefitted immensely as Bhaijaan’s film assures fireworks at the box office. Unfortunately, his Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai missed out the festive occasion due to COVID- 19 pandemic, thus making Salmaniacs wait harder for one special feat.

To be more specific, we’ll be taking a look at how Salman starrers performed over the last decade.
Considering the decade from 2010 to 2019, it all started with Dabangg (2010) which revamped Salman Khan’s glory at the box office. The film had made 139 crores in India. On next Eid, he delivered Bodyguard which took ticket windows by storm and earned 142 crores. In 2012, Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger shattered all the previous records and put up a total of 198 crores, thus missing a 200 crore mark by a slight margin.

In 2013, we didn’t saw any Salman Khan Eid mania but the next year, Kick earned the star his first 200 crore grosser. It garnered a collection of 233 crores in India. In 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan took a big leap by racing into the 300 crore club. The film pulled off an astonishing figure of 320.34 crores. Then continuing the legacy of the triple century, Salman’s Sultan (2016) scored 300.45 crores.
In 2017, we saw a downfall as Tubelight clearly underperformed at the ticket windows. Nonetheless, it still made 121.25 crores. Then in 2018, Race 3 became an Eid nightmare for Salman Khan. But surprisingly, it went onto collect 169 crores at the box office. And speaking of the last year, Bharat gave a much-needed boost to Bhaijaan’s Eid credibility. The film went onto collect 209.36 crores in India.
Interestingly, over the last decade, Salman hasn’t delivered a single flop during Eid but that’s not something that excites us. It’s about the figures, the megastar has been able to pull off with his ‘Eidis’. If we combine the total of all of his aforementioned films, it comes to a staggering 1832.40 crores. Yes, and that’s where the biggest crowd-puller missed the feat this year.

As everyone knows, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was geared up to hit the screens during Eid but COVID- 19 had altogether different plans for Salman fans. If it would have been normal conditions, there were high chances of the 2000 crore mark being crossed.
