Yesterday, Saaho completed one year since its release. Featuring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, the action entertainer collected huge money in India. This actioner once again proved Darling actor’s Pan India appeal.
The Sujeeth directorial was in the news since its announcement. Thanks to its mammoth budget and VFX work, the film had created enough pre-release buzz. Till the first teaser, everything worked quite well in the film’s favour but the trailer’s mixed reception changed the game a bit. Further, the critics’ reviews and audience feedback led to actioner’s downfall.
On the positive side, Saaho clicked a big opening all across the country. The Hindi version emerged Hit at the box office. Also, the VFX work was praised of the film.

On the completion of Saaho’s one year, let’s take a look at the film’s major box office feats:
Opening Day- The Prabhas starrer opened to earth-shattering response in India. Cumulative of all languages, the film amassed 88 crores thus becoming 2nd highest opener after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion‘s 121 crores.
Lifetime Collection- With 302 crores approx., Saaho emerged as Prabhas’ 3rd highest grosser. The first two positions are held by Baahubali 2 and Baahubali: The Beginning.
Worldwide Collection- The film ended its theatrical run by making around 440 crores globally. It’s the 3rd highest for the actor after Baahubali 2 and Baahubali: The Beginning.
Hindi Version’s Collection- The film Hindi version became 3rd best collections after Baahubali 2 and 2.0 for any Down South project. It earned 149 crores.
Profit- Speaking of Hindi version, Saaho toppled the profits of Akshay Kumar’s Good Newwz, Housefull 4 and Kesari. It made a return of around 113%.
