This week saw three new releases namely Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi, Rajeev Khandelwal starrer Samrat & Co. and Kangana Ranaut starrer Revolver Rani. Though a very less was expected from Kaanchi and Samrat & Co., we expected a better response from the cinegoers for the later one.

However, Revolver Rani opened to an extremely poor occupancy in the morning shows. Witnessing merely 20% occupancy so far, the film might show some signs to pick up in the afternoon and evening shows. But again, the film might drop in the late evening and night shows, due to the ongoing IPL season.

Nevertheless, if the word of mouth publicity happens to be good, Revolver Rani has chances to sustain well at the Domestic Box Office. The other two releases have seen even lower occupancy.

Speaking about the screen count, but obviously Revolver Rani has got maximum screens i.e. 1500; while Kaanchi has got around 1200 screens and Samrat & Co. is being screened on merely 500 screens.
