Raazi Box Office: Alia Bhatt Starrer Scores Same On 5th Tuesday As Its 5th Monday!

Raazi starring Alia Bhatt is still holding its fort at the box office despite multiple releases. The movie post crossing the 100 crore mark went on to become highest grossing movie of Alia Bhatt. It has crosses the 120 crore mark and started its week 5 on a stable note.

In its 5th weekend the movie collected 2.15 crores, which is an outstanding number given the competition it has been facing from various releases. Holdover releases in Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom have also been doing well.

The movie has collected 32 lakhs on its 5th Tuesday, which is same as Monday, and now stands at the grand total of 120.58 crores. Race 3, releasing this week will put a brake on a all the remaining releases as it will highjack a major chunk of screens.

Alia has an interesting line-up in which she has movies like Kalank, Gully Boy, Brahmastra. She will also feature in Ashwiny’s slice-of-life comedy-drama.

“It’s happening next year. I am very happy and filled with gratitude with the story that I’ll doing with Alia,” Ashwiny said.

Ashwiny, known for Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi, also praised Alia for her acting skills.

“Without doubt Alia will light up the screen with her acting prowess, besides the nicest human being she is. It will be an added perk,” added the wife of director Nitesh Tiwari.

Interestingly in her career of six years, this would be Alia’s fourth film with a female director after Dear Zindagi by Gauri Shinde, Raazi by Meghna Gulzar and Gully Boy by Zoya Akhtar. In fact, she had started her career as a child with a female director Tanuja Chandra in Sangharsh.
