The unrequited love tale of a Benaras ka launda created quite a rage at the box office. Content wise the film was impressive for its concept and acting wise Dhanush was a stellar. The film in its 3rd weekend performed well in the range of 1-2 crores approximately, however the income was hindered in the weekdays for the obvious reasons.

Raanjhanaa made on a budget of 35 crores has begun yielding profits, after successfully recovering its investment. The film has to maintain its pace and face magnanimous releases like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to venture into the Hit film mark. The film’s total domestic collections in its 3rd week rests at 60.30 crores, with hope of improving in the weeks to come!
