Even though Queen started off on a low note, the film showed fabulous jump over the weekend. The film witnessed a good pick up on Day 3 i.e. 1st Sunday as it collected 4.50 crores yesterday at the Domestic Box Office. It now stands with a total of 9.55 crores after the 3 Day’s successful run at the box office.

Queen released along with two other films, Gulaab Gang and Total Siyapaa. All three films had a bleak start with low occupancy on its opening day. However, Queen picked up well over the weekend and grossed the highest numbers compared to the other two. The film performed well, mainly in the areas of Delhi and Punjab and other metros including Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata.

The simplistic tale of Rani (Kangana Ranaut) has struck the right chord among the critics and the audiences too. The word of mouth publicity too seems to have worked for Queen. It is expected to have decent growth over the week.
