Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 turned out to be a huge success. The film maintained a good run till its second weekend. It collected 2.40 crores on Friday, 3.25 crores on Saturday and 3.05 crores om Sunday, thus taking its total to 47.95 crores over its second weekend.

In spite of a big release of the much-hyped Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Shandaar, the film remained rock solid. Already being declared a hit, the film is now closer to reaching the 50 crore mark which is commendable considering that it had a low star power.

What is amazing is that in spite of getting mixed reviews from the critics, the film managed to enjoy a good positive word of mouth amongst the audiences, leading it to become a box office hit.
